The video below is a promotional vid I shot and edited for Mochamind.com. It is based on a children's writing workshop which was designed by Gioya McRae, a writer with mochamind.com. The program puts parents together with their kids in creating a superhero concept and story which they present together at the end of the workshop.

It was a warm Thursday night on 10-22-09. lol Seriously, for those that didn't know, me and my man Professir X go to political and community events to cover them for a TV program we produce for Public Access. At the same time we contribute footage and photos to CNN for them to use in news stories and such.

This particular night was geared to the unveiling of CNN's new website, and as contributors, we were invited to participate. We enjoyed a great presentation and an after party and of course I had to share this with everybody.

CNN has made some excellent changes to their website which changes the user interface to make it easy to take in all the content they have to offer (ours included). One of the stand out things for me was the integration of content TED. Those unfamiliar with this site should check it out because it offers presentations from some of the most prominent minds in the world on topics ranging from science to entertainment.

Other notable additions include the partnering with facebook and the partnership with Oprah Winfrey's book club which will be airing on the site shortly.

News outlets will have to fall in line and follow CNN's lead if they want to do well, and I'm glad I was there to witness the future.

I really enjoyed hearing her talk about the issue of hearing one story and how that truly affects the way you think. It's not just about one side of an argument, it's about behaving a particular way towards people or things, when you dont have a complete picture. Enjoy.
